Welcome to the Ferndown Forest Ladies Section
We’re delighted to welcome all Lady Members — both Associate and Full — to our friendly, inclusive, and active Ladies Section. Whether you’re new to golf or a seasoned player, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Weekly Roll-Ups – Monday & Friday Mornings
Join us every Monday and Friday at 10:00 am for our relaxed Ladies’ Roll-Up sessions. There’s no need to book — simply turn up, meet fellow members, and enjoy a sociable round of golf in a welcoming atmosphere.
Wednesday Competitions
Our weekly Wednesday competitions offer a more competitive edge, featuring prizes, trophies, and opportunities to earn handicap and Order of Merit points.
To take part in either 9 or 18 holes, please sign up via the Masterscoreboard app by 5:00 pm on the preceding Sunday. Tee times and playing partners will be drawn and published on BRS ahead of the event.
Summer Evening Roll-Ups
Designed especially for working ladies, our summer evening roll-ups offer a relaxed way to enjoy a round of golf followed by a drink and a chat. Dates and times will be announced via our newsletter — so stay tuned!
Summer Matches
Throughout the summer, our section competes in a series of friendly and league matches, both home and away, against other local clubs. These are a fantastic opportunity to experience competitive golf and meet other players from across the region.

A Big Thank you
Penny Hamilton is stepping down this month from the ladies committee after many years of service. On behalf of the current ladies committee, and I am sure all previous committees, I would to pass on my thanks to Penny for the support and hard work she has put into the running of the ladies section over many years. Penny’s contribution has ensured the success and evolving of a friendly and happy ladies section.
Wishing Penny a well earned and happy retirement.
