WHAT ARE FLEXI POINTS?

Flexi Points can be used to purchase green fees and driving range balls at discounted rates.

They also give you enhanced online booking access, allowing you to book tee times 14 days in advance, compared with 12 days in advance for standard visitors who are not using Flexi Points.

WHAT DISCOUNT DO I GET?

25% off all green fees, including twilight rates
20% off all driving range basket sizes

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Points - 1 point is equal to £0.01 (£50 = 5000 points) When you use these points they get deducted. E.G. a £20 green fee minus the flexi point discount would be 1500 points (£15).

Tee Times - When you purchase flexi points you will be able to book or be added to a booking 14 days in advance. You will come in and pay for your tee time with your flexi points before playing your round. You can purchase points in the golf shop or online before your round if you need to top up.

Range Balls- To purchase driving range balls using flexi points you do so in the golf shop. Points can be used against all sizes of range baskets.

WHERE CAN I BUY POINTS?

You can purchase and top up Flexi Points in three ways:

Through the Ferndown Forest app
Online via our website
In the Golf Shop

The minimum purchase is £50, which gives you 5,000 Flexi Points. You can purchase as many multiples of £50 as you wish.

DO POINTS EXPIRE?

Yes unused points expire after 2 years.

I ALREADY HAVE MONEY ON MY RANGE ACCOUNT, DOES THIS REPLACE RANGE ACCOUNTS?

Yes it does but not worry, the range account points balances have been transferred in to the equivalent value of flexi points and will be on your account waiting for you.  Yes this does replace Range Accounts and now gives you the benefit of spending your existing range account points on Green fees as well as still getting the same range discounts.  If you already had an email address attached to your range account please use this to login to the app and create a password.

CAN EXISTING FULL MEMBERS USE FLEXI POINTS?

Yes all membership categories with full membership rights (Full, Off Peak, Country, Colt, Colt Plus & Junior) can use flexi points to get discounts on their range ball purchases. The app will also give you access to extra discounts.

DOES THIS REPLACE THE ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP?

In effect yes. It gives all the benefits of Associate membership without the need to renew every year. We still offer an annual Associate membership for those flexi point users that wish to play in competitions and have an official EGU handicap at a cost of the £29 EGU FEE - 100% of which goes to England golf to register the handicap). 

I AM ALREADY AN ASSOCIATE MEMBER, DO I STILL GET THE DISCOUNTS?

Yes. Existing Associate Members will still receive:

25% off green fees
14-day advance booking access

Until 30th June, existing Associate Members can continue to pay by cash or card when they arrive to play and still receive the 25% discount.

From 1st July, we ask that Associate Members purchase and use Flexi Points in order to continue receiving the 25% discount.

I AM ALREADY AN ASSOCIATE MEMBER, WHAT HAPPENS WHEN MY RENEWAL IS DUE?

When your renewal is due, you will have two options.

You can renew your Associate Membership for £29 per year if you wish to continue playing in competitions and maintain an official England Golf handicap.

Alternatively, you can allow your Associate Membership to lapse and simply continue as a Flexi Points user. This will still allow you to keep your green fee discounts, range ball discounts and 14-day advance booking rights.
